Minnesota WIC has developed the training modules found below. If you are unable to view these modules and need to request an alternate form of training, contact 651-201-4404 or health.wicvendor@state.mn.us.


WIC Training Module for New Grocery Store Owners and Managers
This module will help new store owners or managers understand the rules of the WIC program. If you are applying for WIC authorization for your store, or if you are a new owner or manager at a store that is already WIC authorized, you may be required to complete this module. WIC Training Module for Pharmacies
This module provides pharmacy staff information on the WIC Program, WIC formulas, ordering formulas for WIC customers, and how to transact the WIC card. Access the module by clicking the link below:

Cashier Training

  • Integrated stores
    This module will provide cashiers in stores with an integrated POS system with basic information about WIC transactions, troubleshooting, and providing good customer service. Cashier Training - Integrated Stores - 21 minutes (Script - PDF)
  • Stand-beside terminals
    For training on how to use a stand-beside terminal (non-integrated vendors), please view the Minnesota eWIC Transaction Demonstration on a Stand-Beside Terminal.

Compliance Module
This module is required on an as needed basis by invitation for WIC Program violations or suspected violations. It will provide stores with information and a refresher on WIC Program rules.

This module will introduce integrated WIC vendors to produce mapping and its importance for successful WIC transactions.
