Child Care Provider Information on Diarrheal Illness

Diarrhea (loose stools) is a common symptom of several infections that can be easily spread to other children or staff in child care settings. Some of these infections result in serious illness. Help prevent infections from spreading at child care - do not allow children to attend child care or preschool with diarrhea or vomiting.
