Licensing and Regulatory Guides

These documents provide guidance to an applicant in preparing a license application. They describe the criteria used by Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) staff when evaluating the application. The information in these guides is not a substitute for radiation safety training or for developing and implementing an effective radiation safety program. Applicants should carefully study the appropriate guide and all the regulations identified in the guide before application. MDH may request additional information when necessary to provide reasonable assurance that an adequate radiation protection program has been established.
