Creating your poster
- Art must be original.
- Radon information must be accurate.
- Posters should be at least 8 1/2” x 11”, but larger is great.
- Posters can be made with crayons, markers, paints, colored pencils, charcoal, collage, or on your computer.
- No artificial intelligence.
- Posters should have correct spelling.
- Only one entry per person.
Poster topic ideas
- What is radon?
- Where does radon come from?
- How does radon get into our homes?
- Radon can cause lung cancer.
- Test your home for radon.
- Mitigating radon in your home.
Submitting your poster
Please make sure photos of the poster are taken in good light.
Dates and other information
Poster contest runs August 3, 2006
to November 9, 2026.
First, second, and third place winners
will be notified by early December.

- Creativity.
- How the topic is visually communicated.
- The ability to reproduce the poster.
- Originality.
- Correct grammar and spelling.
- Correct information on radon.
