Minnesota Health Care Loan Forgiveness Programs

The Minnesota Office of Rural Health and Primary Care grants Loan Forgiveness to various health care professionals serving in high-need areas. Please note that Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors (LADC) are now included as Urban/Rural Mental Health Professionals. The following professions were eligible for this year's early application cycle AND the regular application cycle (listed below):

2. Regular application cycle for ALL eligible professions:

Regular application cycle: November 1—January 7, 2022

ALL eligible professions may apply for the Minnesota Health Care Loan Forgiveness program cycle as usual beginning November 1. These applications will be accepted through January 7, 2022. Please note that Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors (LADC) are now included as Urban/Rural Mental Health Professionals. The following professions are eligible:
