Deadline Soon: Coordinated Response Opportunity
On Dec. 29, 2025, the Assistant Secretary for Technology Policy/Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ASTP/ONC) published the Health Data, Technology, and Interoperability: ASTP/ONC Deregulatory Actions to Unleash Prosperity (HTI-5) Proposed Rule for comment.
The Minnesota e-Health Initiative is collecting and compiling written feedback for a coordinated response. Comments are due by Friday, Feb. 13 at 5:00pm. Submit comments using the HTI-5 Proposed Rule Coordinated Response Form. Note: Not all questions in the form need to be answered.
Minnesota stakeholders are encouraged to review the proposed rule and share their comments and perspectives with the Initiative. ASTP/ONC has provided a fact sheet, chart, and recorded information session on the webpage for the proposed rule: Health Data, Technology, and Interoperability: ASTP/ONC Deregulatory Actions to Unleash Prosperity (HTI-5) Proposed Rule | HealthIT.gov.

Health Care Homes Learning Days 2026 Call for Presentation Proposals!
The Health Care Homes Program is now accepting presentation proposal submissions for Health Care Homes Learning Days 2026, taking place on Wednesday, May 13 at the Heritage Center of Brooklyn Center.
Health Care Homes Learning Days is a statewide conference that brings together clinic teams, partners, and subject matter experts to share practical, real-world strategies that strengthen patient and family engagement, enhance care coordination, support integrated care teams, and advance health equity across Minnesota’s health care system.
We invite individuals and organizations to submit proposals for one-hour breakout sessions that showcase effective approaches, tools, partnerships, and lessons learned that can be applied directly in practice. Sessions may highlight innovations, successful workflows, community collaborations, or implementation experiences that support the Health Care Homes model.
The proposal submission deadline is Jan 30.

Two Minnesota e-Health Initiative work groups are meeting this week.
The Minnesota e-Health Advisory Committee along with the Minnesota e-Health Initiative work groups have meeting scheduled for January.
- Minnesota e-Health Advisory Committee meeting on January 15 from 10:00 a.m. - noon
- Bridging Information and Care Work Group on January 16 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
- AI Work Group on January 26 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Join a Minnesota e-Health Initiative Work Group!
The Minnesota e-Health Initiative is launching two work groups focused on the topics of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Bridging Information and Care.
Opening meetings for both work groups have now been scheduled.
AI Work Group: Monday, Dec. 15, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Bridging Information and Care Work Group: Friday, Dec. 19, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
