County level overdose death data tables

The tables below include the preliminary numbers for 2023.

These tables have information about Minnesota residents who died from drug overdose between 2014 and 2023. They list the number of deaths by year, resident county, and the type of drug involved. This drug overdose death data is useful for understanding and helping improve the drug overdose crisis response in Minnesota. Local public health agencies, county organizations, and community partners can use this information to find patterns, distribute funds and materials, and create specific plans to address drug overdose impacts in their communities.
