Burn Surge Videos

Special thanks to both Hennepin County Medical Center - Burn Center and Regions Hospital - Burn Center  staff for their time and expertise on designing the following educational curriculum to serve healthcare professionals of all levels.

These videos contain extremely graphic images. These images are intended to help health care professionals identify, diagnose and treat burns.

Basic Burn Surge Education

  • Module 1: Minnesota Statewide Burn Surge Planning
    Creating a burn surge plan prepares your agency for a mass casulty event. 8:23 minutes.

  • Module 2: Introduction to Burn
    The nature and epidemiology of burn injuries as well as and overview of skin and burn classifications. 7:18 minutes.

  • Module 3 Basic: Burn Treatment and Stabilization
