Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) published a Dual Notice of Intent to Adopt Rules in the Minnesota State Register (PDF) for the Health Risk Limits (HRL) Rules Amendments on November 4, 2024. Comments were accepted from November 4, 2024, to December 4, 2024, at 4:30 p.m. The comment period is now closed.  To view comments submitted and MDH's response, please see Comments Received. 

Please also see the associated Errata (PDF) that notes an error in the Dual Notice. In the “Subject of Rules and Statutory Authority,” section, the fourth (last) sentence of the first paragraph incorrectly states the units of PFOS referenced in Laws of Minnesota 2023, Chapter 60, Article 3, Section 34 as “ppm,” rather than “ppb” or “parts per billion” as shown in the Session Law.
