County Office Marriage Reporting
Monthly
Each county office must report the number of marriage certificates filed within a calendar month to MDH. This count signifies the number of certificates for which the ceremony was performed and the paperwork returned for filing.
File your monthly report using this reporting form: Report of Marriage Certificates Filed.
Annually
Each year, the local registrar of each county must report to the Department of Health the number of civil marriage licenses issued in the county for which the full fee was paid and the number for which the reduced fee was paid.
File your annual report numbers using the Annual Report of Marriage Licenses Issued - 2023. Reporting must be completed by close of business on Friday, February 9, 2024.
The person reporting the numbers for your office will receive an email confirmation of the data entered.
