340B Drug Pricing Program Reporting
Beginning in April 2024, health care entities that participate as “covered entities” in the federal 340B Drug Pricing Program will be required to annually report data related to their 340B prescription drug purchases and payments to the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH). MDH will synthesize its findings in annual reports to the legislature on the reported data beginning in November 2024.
This initiative was established by the legislature in 2023 and is codified in Minnesota Statues, section 62J.312, subd. 6.

Register and Report Online
Reporting entities preparing to submit a report are encouraged to access the online reporting system to register at MN Department of Health Rx. Upcoming Implementation Steps
- April 1, 2024: Covered entities’ reports are due to MDH
